Telecom is responsible for 2% of the entire global carbon production. To put that in perspective, it equals what the airline industry emits worldwide.

Self-generating physical infrastructure like Aradatum’s telecom-anchored microgrid allows for complete sustainable power without need of the grid (and by default alleviating stress on the grid). Imagine bringing both power and connectivity to areas that are hard to reach because of terrain, or are lacking in access to the grid, or are just too expensive to run the infrastructure to power in the first place. An entire self-generating system that provides power for the telecom operators running 5G communications allowing for connectivity access; for the edge compute data centers at the base of the tower that are driving IOT, AI, and other low-latency needs (ie: autonomous driving); for the EV’s looking to charge; and for the surrounding neighborhoods looking to create a private network for their usage eliminating the digital divide. A single system whose footprint is no larger than a standard teleco base area, but whose power output would require 2,000 solar panels to match (that’s a lot of square feet and a waste of usable land).
