We have new Wonderbooks! Thanks to a grant from the Cumberland County Youth Services Advisory Council (YSAC) we have ordered new Wonderbooks to add to our collection!
What are Wonderbooks? They are print books with a pre-loaded audiobook permanently bound to the inside cover. Kids can press play to read along with the story or switch to learning mode for fun and literacy learning if desired.
There are many benefits to Wonderbooks including enhanced literacy, multisensory engagement, increased reading confidence, and accessibility! Plus, they're fun to read!

We would like to thank leaders and members of Girl Scout Troop 51283 and the Littoral Society for working hard to get our garden beds planted with native plants donated by The Pollen Nation!
In the first of a two-part series, Michelle from the American Littoral Society worked with scouts to design a garden of native plants that will benefit pollinators and local wildlife. The second session -- the actual planting -- was held last night!
We'd like to thank everyone that helped including our teen volunteers and parents!
