Honored to have been able to raise the American flag right here in Bridgeport on the 4th.

🏗️ Progress update on the Warnoco site.
What's been holding the South End back is being cleared out after nearly two decades of blight to make way for new affordable housing.
I'm out checking on several locations where we have downed trees following the recent storm. Public Facilities crews are responding in several areas of our city to clear trees and limbs in the streets.
⚠️ Residents may encounter temporary road closures or detours as crews work to safely clear roadways and remove debris. Please use caution when traveling, and slow down near work crews, follow any posted detours.
Thank you to DPF for keeping our roads safe and reopen affected areas as quickly as possible.

250 years of America.
Freedom, equality, and opportunity for all, that has always been the promise, and Bridgeport will always be a city that fights for them.
For too many, that promise is still unfinished. This July 4th, we celebrate how far we've come and stay committed to the work still ahead. 🇺🇸

The Great Street Parade never gets old. 🎉
