Sacred Snow

almost a week of introspection in the swamp with my fellow artists and soul family. 🦉🌿🪇🪘🎻

after the profound ways this experience has opened my perspective, I feel so sure of each persons unique ability to create art that can change the world, and even more so courageous in the pursuit of my dreams.

i’m so grateful for the space this retreat created for us to share our stories, listen, and be heard.

music connects us in unspeakable aways. coming here felt like a crucial stepping stone in this journey where I got to learn so much about myself and connect with some really incredible humans who inspire me to embrace my own inner visions and keep birthing them into the world.

I thought I would go on this retreat and learn more about the world of music production, yet found something so much deeper… a restored sense connection to nature and all things, the pure essence of presence, so many lessons of gratitude, patience, trust, and self-love taught through the people and mirrors around me. all on a full moon too🥹

sometimes in life we’re called towards certain people or places and things, and it’s important to listen to that inner knowing. it could be steering you towards purpose, your path, destiny, whatever u wanna call it or maybe to a place where you will at least find some direction. finding the AFC family felt like coming home, and this swamp and her earthly abilities have left me forever humbled. she cleanses, she holds space for life, death, creation, transformation, and she is a birthing container. all this, while no one’s even watching. she is the creator in symbiotic form experiencing itself, just like us humans. this giant ecosystem, feeding, filtering, fertilizing, and frolicking through this life on earth. we operate the same.

nature truly knows everything and “has been running the show” for millions of years. the plants have evolved to know the secrets of life, except it’s not a secret at all. It’s just waiting for us to notice, gently, and surrender to her mystery.
