Hemi went home a while back and is thriving with Emma. She hauled him to a 4-H judging show where he was a superstar!

The pieces are really starting to come together with this filly. She had some superb moments this weekend where she showed us what she is truly figuring out and what we need to do some homework on.

A few silly mistakes on my part hurt our scores, but Oliver really showed us this weekend that he is getting comfortable as a ranch horse. He's confident with lope over poles, bridges, and building my loop while loping, all of which were hurdles for him. For a while his catchphrase was, "Ummm, we don't do that in reining?!" ðĪĢ
He's been such a good sport about it all and is turning into such a fun horse to show, even on the cattle side!

This pair is always a joy to watch, their trail scores have been amazing this year. I need to share her go from the last show with you all because it was just beautiful. We're learning all kinds of new things on the cattle side and I see so much improvement at each show.

Zan found his confidence a little this weekend and pushed some boundaries, the joys of showing young horses. I am so proud of Susan for branching out and trying new classes. Not many placings, but some great homework and feedback for this pair.

Craig was much better about managing his speed and spacing in his rail class! Those were our two goals for this show and he nailed it.

This was a special treat, I got to catch ride Duffy this weekend. He went home in February and I haven't swung a leg over him since. He braved the ranch trail and ranchmanship on Saturday for the first time. Nothing eventful, just a wonderful first experience! I am excited to have him back in the fall âĪïļ

Kristi and Slinky looked amazing in the in hand trail! They would have been 1st and 2nd had they not left out a manuever. While many would be disheartened, I am thrilled at how well the performed and know that this show is just one of several leading up to a bigger goal for them.

Slinky did as good as I can expect for a two year old's first classes. Stayed on pattern, behaved, and even placed against the Junior horses. Her trail pattern was so cute, just a trot into a lead departure got her in the penatly box. This moment was over a year in the making and I'm just so grateful for my little horse.

They are a huge part of what keeps all these moving pieces from scattering apart.
Grooming, horse care, cleaning, packing, warming up horses, etc. They are right in there putting in their full effort, no complaints, no waiting to be asked. They work quietly, without a spotlight, just kicking ass and taking names with brushes in back pockets and pitchforks in hand. Thank you both again!
