Resident Life Coordinator (RLC)
9-Month Position | 21+ years
RLCs empower students with disabilities by leading evening and weekend activities, teaching life skills, fostering meaningful friendships, and helping students grow in confidence and their relationship with Christ.

Female Fellow
9-Month Gap Year Program | 18+ years
Our nine-month gap year program provides hands-on experience assisting educators in the classroom, supporting campus life, encouraging life and vocational skills, and building lasting relationships with students with disabilities. The Fellow gap year program fosters personal, professional, and spiritual growth while helping students strengthen their confidence, friendships, and relationship with Christ.

Please join us in welcoming Kelly Cariker to the Barnabas Prep family!

Kelly will serve alongside Brittany Janes as Health Services Director throughout the spring and summer, working closely together to ensure consistent care, strong communication, and continuity of knowledge. Kelly will then step fully into the role this fall as Brittany transitions to full-time motherhood.

Kelly is a Registered Nurse with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing and brings extensive experience in healthcare management and emergency nursing, with a strong focus on pediatric care. Her steady leadership and clinical expertise will help ensure that each Student at Barnabas Prep is supported with attentive, high-quality care in a safe and nurturing environment.

Kelly lives in Nixa, Missouri, with her husband and their five children.
