Let’s get our students excited about reading! 📚❤️

These students completed the Winter Reading Challenge. Each of them spent time Reading over Winter Break and returned their forms to the librarian as a ticket to the Celebration. We made Root Beer Floats and each student recieved a pass to 1984 Acrade Branson. Thank you to Ron and the crew at 1984 for partnering with us to reward reading!

It was an amazing day at CRI. All of CRI has been reading the Mark Twain Award nominated book "The Mysteries of the Radcliffe Riddle". Today, author Taryn Souders came to CRI and met students. We learned about how even small events in your life can be used to inspire your writing. She also shared about some of the interesting research she does to create mysteries.

📕Author Taryn Souders 📕will be visiting Cedar Ridge Intermediate on Wednesday, January 21 in the morning. Her book, The Mystery of the Radcliffe Riddle, is a Mark Twain Readers Award nominee and has been our all-school read-aloud this year, so this visit should be a great experience for our students.

Book order flyers with information about ordering signed copies of her book for were sent home with students before Thanksgiving. All orders are due by Monday, December 15.

Her book The Mystery of the Radcliffe Riddle has been nominated for this year’s Mark Twain Readers Award, and has been our all school read-aloud this year.
