How to Quilt

Our usual stop at the oversized rocker!

Instead of organizing my sewing room, Mark and I are taking my mom and her good friend, Colleen Freeman, for a fun weekend in Branson!

BASTING SPRAY FOR QUILTS
This works only with cotton fabrics, cotton batting, flannel, etc. It will not work with poly.

Boil 1 cup water and 1/2 teaspoon salt.

Mix 1 cup water and 3 tablespoons of plain flour

Whisk the flour/water mixture into the water/salt mixture unril thick, stirring very frequently.

Remove from heat and cool for a few minutes then stir in 1 cup rubbing alcohol. Using a funnel, pour into a spray bottle.
