Thanks to all who have followed the page, and feel free to ask any questions that come to mind!

So far we've covered a few varying topics, and still have a lot to go!

For a brief update, this past week, a lot has changed. The economy has impacted Energy Costs throughout CT as a whole, and most are starting to notice the impacts on their current billing cycle. We've also noticed a major shift in Bank Rates within the industry, as they are also being affected.

For the best results in these programs, it would be recommended to reach out as soon as possible.

Best wishes and Regards,

***HOW SOLAR WORKS***

Technology for Solar Panels today is formally known as Monocrystalline, as opposed to outdated manufacturing styles known as Polycrystalline.

Solar Panels create power through UV Rays, not LIGHT. The heat from UV Rays excites Electrons within the cell; creating a steady and predictable pattern for electrical current.

DC Power created in the Panel is then converted to AC Power for home consumption in 1 of 2 separate ways; Micro-Inverters, or Single Phase String Inverters. Both are acceptable to use in Connecticut, however Micro-Inverters can potentially be more efficient (but might come at an extra cost).

Power will first be dispersed as necessary throughout the home, while excess is put back into the Grid for use when panels aren't actively generating power.

CT State has a 1:1 Net Metering Law (as of right now). This means, your excess power generated is stored for you to use at a later time, at no extra charge. They pay an equal rate for power consumed as they do for power generated.

Feel free to engage if you have any questions about Power Generation, Power Conversion, or Net Metering in your area!
