A little panel work is always fun!

So I just got my first review that was not a 5 star review and I just want to post some pictures and explain what they are talking about. I went to a emergency call at 11pm on a Saturday night because they said there was smoke coming from above there garage and the lights and breaker was tripping. I found that there had been some 14 awg wire ran on a 20amp circuit. This is not only illegal but extremely dangerous because it will no doubt cause a fire sooner or later. Which is what it was o. The verge of doing and is the reason they called me to begin with. I quoted them around $1,500 to remove all the now bad and illegal 14awg wire and replace it with new correctly sized 12 awg wire. As well as run a new 15amp circuit for just there lights in the garage. Please ask Google or any AI software what that would normally cost to do in a fully finished garage and you will see that not only did I not rip them off or try to do anything of the sort but I was actually trying to give them a deal in order to make sure that they were safe and there garage did not burn down on them. I cant believe that they had another company come out and do the illegal work that they asked me to do and I said that I could not. At the end of the day I am very concerned for there safety and hope that there home doesn't burn down. I will probably call the city to inform them of this because I don't think I can rest knowing that people's lives are in danger with this.
