3:16 Ministry will provide a block party for the youth at Canopy on Northwest street Saturday 7/23 at 10:00.

We will restart our ministry to the youth at Canopy by having a block party @10:00 Saturday July 23rd. Location is 1900 North West Street, Jackson, Ms. 39202.

This will consist of games, burgers, worship service and music.

We need as many volunteers as possible to help with this event. Some to help with the cooking and serving; some to help with the games etc.

We will then begin our Sunday worship service July 31st at 11:00 am. We really need help with this ministry. We offer the kids a full worship service with different speakers and worship music. If you can volunteer to at least help one week each month, that would surely be a blessing.

Please let me know if you are interested in helping with this ministry. There is one form that needs to be completed for clearance so let me know if you can assist and we will get you a hard copy (printed) or this is the link to complete the form.

I searched for this image today, because it so clearly depicts what is burning in my heart.

There are so many people who currently feel like they are—emotionally, physically, spiritually, mentally, figuratively—standing on the edge of a bridge. Everywhere you look, people are going through hard things.

And tonight, I just want to implore you: If you see someone on the edge of the bridge, GRAB THEM.

Use both hands.
Grab an arm. A hand. A leg.
Anything you can reach.

Do it through a meal, or a phone call, or a letter, or a Facebook message, or a love offering, or a smile, or a hug. It doesn’t matter how you do it. Let Holy Spirit lead.

But please reach out and grab them so they know that someone somewhere cares enough to hold on.

Grab them because you are the hands and arms of Jesus on this earth, and there is nothing He wants more than to wrap people up and hold them close right now.

Grab them.
Hold on with all your heart.

Remind them that hope is on the way. 💜
