Communication Technician
Maze Communications Contactors is a seasoned provider of quality data cabling and active equipment in new and retrofit commercial construction projects.
Electrician Job Responsibilities:
• Install, repair and replace data cabling.
• Read blueprints and schematics.
• Document repairs and modifications.
• Manage and mentor apprentice electricians.
• Work with architects, contractors, and clients.
• Diagnose and address functionality and safety issues.
• Design and install indoor and outdoor wiring and active systems.
• Inspect and test datacom systems.
• Stay apprised of revisions to National Electric Code (NEC) and other relevant legislation, building and safety regulations.

$15 - $20 per hour depended on experience. Must be able to work weekends and travel. Annual bonus. Paid time off. Medical coverage available. Certification opportunities.
Electrician Qualifications/Skills:
• Ability to run conduit.
• Capable of lifting 50lb, climbing ladders and continuous active for 8 hours.
• Working knowledge of datacom installations.
• Communications skills, ability to interact with other skilled trade professionals, designers, and clients.
• Knowledge of National Electric Code, state and local building codes.
• Knowledge of energy-efficient equipment and products.
• Use of testing equipment and hand tools.
• Ability to work well individually and as part of a team.
Education, Experience & Licensing Requirements:
• OSHA 10- or 30-Hour Training and Safety.
• 0 years residential, commercial or industrial electrical experience.
• Experience with new builds, renovations and historical restoration projects.
• First aid certification.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Driver’s license.
