Meet Amy. This beautiful woman was diagnosed with Ramsey Hunt Syndrome after several days of ear pain and facial paralysis back in 2019. She was left with paralysis on the left side of her face and the emotional toll this diagnosis can bring. Amy has been on a long, arduous journey of educating herself on the disease, researching alternatives, and writing a book (The Hunt for My Smile) to bring more awareness of the disease.

I do not claim to be any type of expert when it comes to managing this disease or facial paralysis. I do, however, have a passion for helping people in any way I can. Amy was referred to me by another patient of mine. Amy has invited me to join her on this journey. Our goal is to minimize the asymmetry in her face using a conservative approach and minimizing the amount of neurotoxin used. Amy has gratuitously allowed me to share her progress in hopes of helping others.
