Being a mom is hard some days but that doesn’t take away from the fact that it’s the most enriching part of my life. I want to hear your favorite “mom experiences” from this week! I’ll share first-

My son is almost two and a half and because of his Spina Bifida he hasn’t learned to walk independently... yet. But earlier this week at the zoo he held hands with my husband and I, and he walked hand and hand with us through the whole reptile exhibit! This is something we’ve been waiting a long time for and we enjoyed every second!! ♥️

I am a perfectionist so I like stay in my comfort zone where I know things will turn out well. I am not a super artsy person but I LOVE learning new things! Over the past year, planning and attending classes has been a great outlet for me! I’ve had to let go of my perfectionism and embrace that it’s okay for things to not always be so perfect.

My son’s birthday was last weekend and normally I would order or buy a cake, but I decided to decorate my own this year! (Thanks to Amy .ut for sending me home with some yummy already baked cakes!!) I was anxious about the end result, but guess what?! They turned out amazing! Not perfect by any means, there are smudges here and there and my stripes aren’t straight, but they were made with love and I love that!! So here’s to stepping out of our comfort zone and trying new things! @ Woods Cross, Utah

It’s always a fun day when I get to do a class with my bestie since birth! Marnè from is such a great teacher and makes learning how to create a wreath FUN! ⁣
