Today we officially said goodbye to (and congratulated!) the class of 2020, which included twenty graduates receiving a BS in Information Science, and one PhD graduate, Ashlynn Daughton. This was a special class that included the freshmen cohort who joined us our very first semester teaching. We held a virtual graduation ceremony over Zoom, where we welcomed friends and family. Highlighted today in CU Boulder Today, this CMCI Now story features Information Science senior Joy Weinberg, who sees connections between her major and her competitive figure skating career. She is currently working with Dr. Leysia P***n (with a grant from the Undergraduate Research Opportunities Program) on research related to risk communication during hurricane events. Go figure!
