I had a rough weekend. Lots of emotion. Deep, challenging conversations.
Monday morning, I still felt off, AND it was windy.
The wind usually stops me, but lately I've been practicing being with it instead of hiding from it.
So I did my morning practices. To return to peace. To come back into my body. To raise my frequency.
For me, this is the most important thing I can do. It's the energy I create my day with.
Then I went to hike Mount Sanitas. In the wind.
Near the top, I passed a group coming down. I smiled and said, "You all look like you're having fun. Enjoy the rest of your hike."
One of the men stopped. "How are you?"
"Amazing. It's a beautiful day, and I'm out here."
He paused. "You have such beautiful energy."
"Thank you!"
Then he asked if I had a Sanitas hat.
"No, I don't."
He took off his backpack, pulled one out, and handed it to me.
"It doesn't happen to be your birthday, does it?"
"Not today, but it was last Wednesday."
He smiled. "I just had a feeling. This is my gift to you."
I'm sharing this because it reminded me how much energy matters.
If I'd stayed in the state I woke up in, I would not have received that moment. I would have walked right past them, head down.
There is so much happening in the world. I felt it all weekend.
What this reinforced for me:
Being in the highest frequency I can access and sharing love with the people I meet is my way of taking a stand.
Do I feel angry sometimes? Yes.
Scared? Sad? Frustrated? Also yes.
But I don't want to spend days contracted and angry — hurting myself and adding more of that energy into the world.
Because responding from that place only creates more of it. At least, that’s my experience.
This isn't about not taking a stand. It's about what energy you take the stand from.
Does it create expansion or contraction within you?
That choice shapes what follows.

There’s a story we’ve been sold about leadership:
Work harder. Do more. Push through.
Steven wrote this week’s article, and it names something we see again and again in the leaders we work with. When you stop pushing time, when you stop fighting yourself internally, something else becomes available. Clarity. Magnetism. Results that don’t require self-sacrifice.
This isn’t about working less as a lifestyle hack.
It’s about coherence and what becomes possible when all parts of you are aligned.
If you’ve been successful but exhausted, this one will land in your body, not just your mind.
