For Fabrication Friday, we're flashing back to late last year, when we did a redesign on our sliding door mechanism. Oh, how far we've come!

The problem surrounding bears and human trash extends beyond black bears and grizzly bears; now, it's the latest threat to the Arctic's polar bears. Via Inverse:

We're rewinding to our June meetings with key Colorado community stakeholders to discuss best practices and brainstorm creative ways the Colorado Parks and Wildlife grant funds could be used to minimize human interactions with bears. And a big congrats to all the grant recipients!

Measure twice, cut once! For Fabrication Friday, we caught Hobbs outside the workshop cutting steel tube for a CanShed frame.

Late last month, Governor Jared Polis announced the grant recipients for the Colorado Parks and Wildlife's Human-Bear Conflict Reduction Community Grant Program! Here in Colorado, state and local governments recognize the seriousness of the human-bear conflict issue—and we're happy to see that they're putting their money where their mouth is. CanShed supports the state's serious stance: from day one, we've said that our product is a viable solution that helps protect your family (and bears!) by securing trash carts from wind and wildlife.
