From corn on the cob to pancakes on the griddle

This week at camp, our teens slowed down and stepped into the full process of transforming food from field to table. They shucked corn, milled it, sifted it, and turned it into corn pancakes they could share and enjoy together.

There’s something powerful about experiencing each step with your own hands. Through these moments, teens aren’t just learning farm skills—they’re building patience, confidence, and a deeper understanding of the systems that nourish us. They get to see the direct impact of their work and experience the connection between land, food, and community.
