Summer is in full swing, and we're doing about 7 to 8 heat pump installs a week right now.

This homeowner went fully electric. Two Mitsubishi ducted systems replaced the home's existing setup, and we swapped the old gas water heater for a heat pump water heater, capping the gas lines for good.

Heat pumps aren't one size fits all. You can go fully electric like this home, pair one with your existing furnace for backup on the coldest days, or go ductless with a mini split if you don't have ductwork.

Either way, the efficiency story holds: a heat pump moves 3 to 4 times more heat than the electricity it takes to run it, compared to a standard furnace. It cools your home too, and with a modern high efficiency rating, it uses less electricity than an older AC to do the same job.
