Over the years I've removed some big hives. I even had one go viral, "Holy Huge Comb," a couple of years ago. Monday I removed the largest hive I've come across. Coming in at over 30 feet of combs, this was the big one.

The Bee Is Declared The Most Important Living Being On The Planet The Earthwatch Institute concluded in the last debate of the Royal Geographical Society of London, that bees are the most important living being on the planet, however, scientists have also made an announcement: Bees have already entered into extinction risk.

This is possibly the most important news in preservation - who's story is worth telling? It is a critical moment when Sally Hemings' possibly gets a voice in history and is treated with some respect. Hats off to all those who made it happen.
