Boulder City Council member Taishya Adams was harshly criticized for not signing a declaration condemning the attack as antisemitic, requesting instead that it be described as antisemitic and anti-Zionist. Other community members have also pushed back against the broad labeling of criticizing Israeli military action in Gaza as antisemitic.
