Welcome To the Boulder Coloradical ADAPT Page.
ADAPT is a National Grassroots Cross-Disability Civil/Human Rights Coalition. ADAPT is perhaps most prominently known for the willingness to be arrested in acts of Non-violent civil disobedience on its Actions. You won't be arrested just for joining this group though and non-arrest persons are needed even on action.
ADAPT works for full inclusion and participation for Persons With Disabilities in their communities. ADAPT strives to keep all persons visible in communities. We will not be locked away by budget cuts or by those institutions and persons who benefit from affronts to our human dignity and rights. Just know if you get some of us, we will not go timidly or quietly (though non-violently) and it's not over til it's over.
Boulder Coloradical ADAPT is our local Boulder incarnation of the Movement.
Boulder Coloradiical ADAPT Meetings are held:
Alfalfa's. 1651 Broadway, Boulder, CO 80302
typically the first or second Friday in the month though this can vary. Often from 530pm-, though this can vary too.
