We bring English learners and community volunteers together in language classes and gatherings to build skills, confidence, and life-changing connections, online and in person.

For students like Wendy, English class is more than vocabulary and grammar. It’s a place to build confidence, feel connected, and know someone is walking alongside them.

As we close our fiscal year, your gift helps Intercambio continue creating meaningful learning spaces where adult English learners and volunteers build language, confidence, and community together.

"I might have something to share, but I'm not sure it's the right fit."

We hear this a lot. And almost every time, it is the right fit!

The Intercambio Summer Conference is built around real, lived classroom experience. If you've tried something and want to share and discuss it with peers, that's exactly the kind of session our attendees come for.

Here are a few topics past attendees have asked for specifically:

- Differentiating instruction for mixed-level groups
- Using music, humor, and joy in language lessons
- Trauma-informed teaching strategies
- Building connections in the classroom
- Incorporating movement, games, and physical activities
- Inclusive teaching practices that celebrate diversity and belonging

Submit your proposal by June 26th, and find full guidelines here: intercambio.org/conference
