πŸ‘©β€πŸŒΎ The People Story β€” Who Grows Your Food

Behind every head of lettuce and bunch of carrots is a person with dirt under their fingernails and a reason they chose this work.

Our farmers came to this land from different paths… some who left other careers to get their hands in the soil, some who found farming as a form of healing. What connects them is a belief that how we grow food matters as much as what we grow.

Our customers are neighbors, families, school kids getting their first taste of a vegetable they actually want to eat, and people who have never had reliable access to fresh food before. They are the reason we operate a monthly free farm stand. They are the reason we show up every season.

And then there are the volunteers, the work traders, the people who show up on a Tuesday morning just because they want to be part of something real.

This food has faces. We think that matters.

Food should be for everyone. That's not a slogan β€” it's how we operate.

We work with on gleaning and food donation, making sure nothing goes to waste and surplus gets to the people who need it most. We partner with Boulder Schools to get fresh, local produce into school meal programs. Once a month this summer, we're hosting a grant funded free farm stand β€” no purchase necessary, just come and eat well.

We also offer work trade opportunities for those who want to be part of the farm and might not have access to quality food otherwise. Show up, get your hands dirty, and take home food. That's community.

Just a little soil appreciation. After two years of sweat, a little blood and maybe a tear or two we are seeing some beautiful, cakey goodness in the fields!

Sometimes it just needs a little water to fluff back up, like one of those little foam dinosaurs that comes in a pill capsule.
