October 11 is an international observance day declared by the United Nations; it is also called the Day of Girls and the International Day of the Girl.
El 19 de diciembre de 2011, la Asamblea General de las Naciones Unidas adoptó la Resolución 66/170 para declarar el 11 de octubre como Día Internacional de la Niña y reconocer los derechos de las mismas y los desafíos únicos a los que enfrentan en todo el mundo.🇪🇺🤝
