The 'hustle and grind' mentality is so last season. Let's talk about the importance of rest and avoiding burnout. Burnout comes in stages, lets catch it in its tracks before its too late.
The 5 stages of burnout are:
🌙The honeymoon phase: At this stage, individuals are excited about their new job or project, and they may work long hours and neglect self-care in order to prove their dedication and commitment.
🌠The onset of stress: As the workload and demands increase, individuals begin to feel overwhelmed and stressed. They may experience physical symptoms such as headaches, fatigue, and insomnia.
😫Chronic stress: At this stage, individuals may start to feel cynical, detached, and irritable. They may become less productive and have difficulty concentrating.
😔Burnout: In this stage, individuals feel exhausted and emotionally drained. They may feel a sense of helplessness and lose motivation for their work or project.
🤕Habitual burnout: At the final stage, burnout becomes a chronic condition. Individuals may experience a range of physical and mental health problems, such as depression and anxiety, and may have difficulty functioning in their daily lives.
