I’m Meirav
I’m a Colorado transplant originally from Israel by way of Brooklyn, New York. I have been practicing Pilates since 2009 and teaching since 2012. Not long after finding Pilates, I began to notice how my movement practice impacted the way I interact with the world. I fell in love with Pilates and later with yoga, earning my yoga teaching certificate in 2019. I taught Pilates in Israel an

Fitness spaces can be intimidating. Walking into a gym might be a stressful experience for some of us. Or even a pilates studio, with 15 reformers and everyone wearing the latest trendy legging.
I wish to make my studio a space where my students know they are safe. They can have holes in their socks, and they don't have to wear any specific brand to move their body here. There are no mirrors. I like to change where things are to keep both myself and my students awake and mindful.
I recently moved the wunda chair to a new location, and I love the view my students get to enjoy while moving on it!

🌟NEW🌟 Meet the studio's new apparatus:

I love the information my body gets when working with it: How much is my core stable? How are my arms connected to my torso? And where am I moving from?
Thank you for creating this one for .with.meirav 🙏🏻

Learning the anatomy of breathing, significantly improved the way I breathe. And then understating how I can align my body to support my breath, has been, and still is, fascinating.
That's why I decided to host this workshop: Breath and Posture, to share my findings and keep exploring this with my students.
🫁What movements can we do to support our breath?
🫁Why if we hold our stomach in all the time, or keep our tale bone tucked, we are challenging our breath?
🫁How can we align our body if we think of stacking our diaphragm over our pelvic floor?

Those questions and more are what we will be exploring.
