Congratulations to the MFA and BFA class of 2026!!! (I couldn’t catch you all, but you know who you are) Next year will not be the same without every one of you!

The semester is not quite over yet but somehow in the middle of last week’s chaos and busyness I was able to also finish carving 18 wood block designs!!! (There was a total of 20, but thankfully helped me get across the finish line).
This was a woodblock printmaking workshop for 5th graders who took part on a cultural mentorship program with CU’s education department. I often stretch myself thin doing things here an there, but I can definitely tell you watching young people discover a new art form is always worth it.

What an amazing night! Congrats to all the MFA graduates & Cal Young! You guys are rockstars!
