Meet Echo Ellis, our peer mentor at Antelope.โ
โ
Echo (she/they), is California native. โ
They are most passionate about music, food, sobriety, and personal growth (both their own and helping others grow). โ
Echo's interests include video games, collecting records, making DIY clothing, and Sci-Fi or fantasy books/movies (such as Dune and Lord of The Rings). โ
Echo also loves to attend local punk music shows, if they are not at work that is likely where they will be :),โ
โ
Echo supports Antelope by serving as a person who can relate our youth and support them as they move through challenges. โ
โ
Echo joined Antelope after going through residential treatment. โ
โ
"It truly saved my life. I was very grateful for the staff who would have simple everyday conversations with me and help me to feel seen as myself, as a person."โ

Echo feels that connection is very important when going through treatment and hopes to serve Antelopes clients in the same way that many mentors did for them.๐Ÿ’—
