A few months ago, our agency was on a conference call with a mid-market organization that was getting ready to launch a new consumer brand in a relatively saturated product category. We were literally speechless when the director of marketing asked us the question, "Are videos on social media effective?" We were all thinking the same thing, "Really?!? Did he just ask us that question?!?" This question may not have raised eyebrows a decade ago but we're all entering the home stretch to 2020!!
At this point in time, EVERY brand should be producing video content for social media if they have a legitimate business purpose for being on social media and actually respect their social media community.
