Soccer fever is real in Seattle ⚽✨
I was commissioned by to transform a soccer ball for a public art project during the FIFA games. I turned mine into a mini galaxy, inspired by my Galactic painting series.💫🪐
Not going to lie, this one tested me. The slick surface kept peeling, and it took some serious trial, error, and patience to make it work.😮💨 But nothing like a deadline to get me back working in the studio😅🙌🏽
Can’t wait to see how all the soccer balls will be displayed! Loved making this, my first mini public art project and being part of the global ⚽️ community at large🥰🥳

Lovely Saturday afternoon spent outside studio to celebrate AAHNPI month. My lovely helper also joined me today and it was so great to get to spend time with her too.
