Please join us at the UW Teaching and Learning Symposium. Over 50 posters from 50+ departments present innovative research on teaching and learning.
The research has been conducted by UW faculty members, students, librarians, and staff members from all 3 campuses. Professors Ellen Moore, Jim Pfaendtner, and Ursula Valdez give the keynote presentation, "Building Inclusive Classroom Communities."

POGIL | Events 03/02/2017

Once again the POGIL community will offer summer workshops to provide training and support for active learning pedagogies and facilitation.There are three tracks available: facilitation, labs, and activity writing.
The Pacific northwest workshop is in Portland at Lewis and Clark College from July 25-28th. For less than $250 you receive two and a half days of workshops, meals, and housing! Plus you get to interact with educators from all over the region! You do not have to be a POGIL practitioner to attend, you can learn as you go!
If you have any questions, feel free to email Dr. Charity Lovitt ([email protected]) as she will be part of the leadership team at the workshop this summer!
