Celebrating Cinco de Mayo today by wishing a happy 1st anniversary to Sarah & Gabriel! 🥂

Their May 5th wedding was pure joy — a vibrant celebration that blended Jewish and Mexican traditions into one unforgettable day. From a heartfelt ceremony to delicious cultural cuisine and festive dances like the hora and la vibora de la mar, every moment honored their story and the people they cherish most.

Happy anniversary S+G, thank you for letting me be part of such a meaningful, fun, and love-filled day. Here’s to your first trip around the sun as newlyweds — and many more to come!

I’ll be celebrating their beautiful wedding all week long with a series of photos from their incredible day — stay tuned! ❤️

I love seeing the joy on the faces of a couple in love. Their enjoyment of each other. The sweet glances, the flirty smiles, the sharing in the little and big moments that make up their wedding day. It is an honor to help a couple create their personal celebration of love, and no matter what that looks like for them my goal is that they feel connected to each other, in a beautiful space that reflects their individuality, and surrounded by the people that love them.

Celebrate love in all ways, at all times, for everyone. ❤️

"My little April lady,
Of sunshine and of showers,
She weaves the old spring magic,
And breaks my heart in flowers!
But when her moods are ended,
She nestles like a dove;
Then, by the pain and rapture,
I know her name is Love."
-Henry Van D**e

Did you know April is ? It's also a month full of blooming flowers, spring showers, new life, and abundant natural beauty. And while we are celebrating beauty, it feels like the perfect moment to share this gorgeous en pointe bride from our amazing ballet-inspired styled shoot.

How are you celebrating this beautiful, bountiful month?

Ever wondered about the origin of those lovely little flowers adorning a lapel? The word "boutonniere" comes from the French word for buttonhole, and in the 16th century it became popular to wear fragrant flowers on your lapel. Over time "bouts" evolved into symbolic accessories, representing various sentiments such as love, luck, and fidelity.

Today, boutonnieres remain a popular tradition in weddings, symbolizing the groom's style and personality while complementing the overall theme. For this groom, one of his passions was growing orchids, so we made sure to incorporate them into his 'bout and the bride's hair flowers.

What's your favorite flower to see in a boutonniere?
