Me against me! 1st overall female this weekend in The Love Run 5k! It was kind of a small race, so I was solo out in front, which can be hard to push yourself without that pressure to compete! Considering I did this race on a wim, it was nice to get in a good workout and pull off a win in the process! This race was for a great cause. The funds go towards an American Red Cross domestic violence charity. Domestic violence is more common than we think and it has definitely touched my life, and people that I know, it’s also very difficult to get out of, so having support is necessary. ❤️
After the race I took my granddaughter to the beach and enjoyed the beautiful sunshine!! ☀️
This morning I met my friend Michelle for an easy 10 miles. It was pretty toasty but I was happy to have good company and conversation as the miles flew by!
7 days left of school! The out for the summer. I can smell the freedom!!😍

Happy Mothers Day 💕💕💕 Hanging with my girls on Mother’s Day was very special to me! I love that we got to go to brunch and hang out! Just the 4 of us! Yep! 4!!! Grand baby number 2 is on the way!!! Due in July! Now I’m gonna be grandma x 2 😂
Oh and it’s a girl!!!💕💕
Being a mom to adult children is definitely different, but I still worry about them just as much as when they were little! I feel very blessed to have my girls by my side!
I included a few pics from the past! So Keep swiping. ➡️
So many amazing memories with my girls when they were little! I do miss those days!! Some of the best moments of my life! Now making new memories with my granddaughter brings so much joy too!
Happy Mothers Day to all the moms, dog moms, step moms, soon to be moms …etc Hope you had a beautiful day💕💕

THERE ARE SO MANY REASONS TO SMILE IN THE BOSTON MARATHON! 😃WELLESLEY COLLEGE GIRLS, AND SEEING PHOTOGRAPHERS ARE 2 OF THEM! 😂 Most of the race I was focused on hurting less and just getting to the finish. The distraction of the giving high fives in Wellesley was just was I needed! It didn’t take the pain away, put it reminded me of how special this course was and how important it was for me to get to the finish! I always try to smile. This year was so focused on my hip ,that I didn’t notice as many photographers. I did squeeze out a smile when I could.!! at the end of the day, I’m blessed to be able to run Boston, regardless of my circumstances! 6 days later I’m still sore. Lol. Needless to say my 18th Boston wasn’t my best, but it was a journey, and with each finish line I learn how strong I can be!
I must say, that I wasn’t fond of them backing up the line for the girls of Wellesley this year! It was must harder to do the high fives! Of all the years I’ve done this race. This was the first time they were so far back ! Anyway, I hope to change it back!
Also, congrats to all the London marathon finishers today! That is still in my bucket list! I was supposed to run it in 2020, when it got canceled. 😭

The Boston Marathon streak continues! 18th Boston done(16th consecutive)
I wish I could say I just had fun today but from the start I felt the hip pain and honestly thought to myself, I may not finish! 26 miles is a LONG way to go in pain. I ignored it as much as possible, and was hoping it would maybe warm up or go numb, but it didn’t, so I just had to get more tough. 😅 I had to finish! Through the hills it got way worse to the point I couldn’t lift my leg very much. I slowed way down, and took baby steps.. determined to get to the finish line. I honestly shocked myself that I made it. Let’s just say I’m beyond thankful and happy with today’s result!
Congrats to all of you that ran today! We did it!!! 💛💙
