On a lunch break from an assignment in downtown Los Angeles and found this incredible and colorful Japanese restaurant called and had a great conversation over lunch with the manager Akiko. Highly recommend this place. Plants and art everywhere. A true gem.

Excited to see my photo of Peter and Stan featured on the cover of Seven Days Newspaper out of Burlington, VT. Can’t believe it’s been 25 years! What a day it was photographing and sharing this historic event with good friends. Over 25 years ago, Peter Harrigan and his now-husband Stan Baker were one of the three plaintiff couples in Vermont’s Freedom to Marry lawsuit. The Vermont Supreme Court issued a landmark decision in Baker v. State in 1999, which led to Vermont’s Civil Union law the following year.
