Authorities are investigating the tragic death of a worker after an incident at a construction site in Swampscott, MA, on Monday afternoon. Police responded to the Aggregate Industries facility at 30 Danvers Road after receiving a 911 call reporting an issue with a rock crusher suspended above the site’s quarry. Our deepest condolences go out to the victim's family and the larger Swampscott community.

One in ten construction personnel is injured annually, and even a single death on a job site is unacceptable.
