Everyday Boston
05/07/2026
Our community-powered auction is LIVE! Whether it’s coaching support on your memoir or a hoodie custom-made for you, our community is donating its time and talents to raise money for Everyday Boston’s programming.
So let’s get bidding! The first round of services, gifts, and experiences is now online (link in bio).
It’s all part of our May 20 fundraiser, “Sharing Our Humanity,” where we’ll announce the winning bids. (Tickets to the fundraiser are as low as $10; get yours at the link in our bio).
Every item in this auction reflects the spirit of Everyday Boston: sharing who we are, what we love, and what we can offer one another. So snag something awesome for yourself or gift something to a person who needs it!
Thank you, .s Imani Massage for the first round of items!
P.S. If you’d like to donate your own time or talent for this auction, we’d love to hear from you: hello@everydayboston.
Meet Tristan Saunders, one of the amazing students working to tackle food insecurity as part of the , a national civic engagement contest for youth. (SHARE THIS POST to amplify the students and their project, which they’ll present to the judges on Tuesday!). Working with their community partners, including Everyday Boston, the students organized an awareness campaign around food insecurity; created a fundraiser; set up a community fridge at the back door of their school; piloted its use in March; and will make it fully operational in September, when student advisory groups will take turns cleaning, stocking, and otherwise tending to this vital community resource.
We at Everyday Boston had the joy of supporting the students’ interviews of community members, who shared their own experiences with food insecurity, their hopes for the fridge, and their advice for anyone experiencing hunger. What a gift to see the students using their curiosity and listening skills to connect with their neighbors, and build community.
Thanks to every student working on this initiative, and to their completely tireless and visionary teacher, , who has not slept in weeks :) Let’s go Titans!!
