Congratulations to Taffy Nothnagle for her induction into the Special Olympics Massachusetts Hall of Fame. She and her family, including her son Jay (who was nominated to the Hall of Fame in 2012) and husband Jeff, were honored for their dedication to the Special Olympics on the South Shore for over five decades. Taffy was the founder of the Scituate program, and served as an alpine skiing and sailing coach.

I have had the honor of working with Taffy throughout my ten years in office. She is a champion and a leader for many causes on the South Shore, and all over the Commonwealth. Her drive and determination has made a lasting impact on our community, and she is not just a pleasure to have worked alongside, she is a true friend.

Congratulations on this well-deserved recognition and I was glad to be a part of the evening.

The Hull Firefighters Past and Present party was a great recognition of firefighters who have made great commitments and sacrifices for the Town of Hull over the years protecting and serving all who live there. The evening was full of catching up with old friends and hearing great stories.

Additionally, Bob Rozzi was recognized for his 28 years of service and dedication to Hull and the South Shore. Enjoy your well-deserved retirement.
