In December, Groovy Shorty traveled back home — to Bogotá — for a very special 𝐅𝐚𝐦𝐢𝐥𝐲 𝐄𝐝𝐢𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐰𝐨𝐫𝐤𝐬𝐡𝐨𝐩.

Creating with my family, sharing this practice with the people who shaped me, and seeing creativity bloom across generations was deeply emotional and grounding.

This wasn’t just a workshop — it was a reminder that 𝐀𝐑𝐓 𝐂𝐎𝐍𝐍𝐄𝐂𝐓 𝐔𝐒 beyond language, age, or experience. Groovy Shorty was born far from home, but moments like this bring everything full circle.

Last November, I hosted Fall Into Art in Boston — a creative gathering filled with color, conversation, and connection.

This workshop was about slowing down, getting our hands messy, and remembering that creativity lives in all of us. Friends, new faces, laughter, paint, yarn, and that beautiful feeling of 𝗯𝗲𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗽𝗿𝗲𝘀𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝘁𝗼𝗴𝗲𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗿. 🌸

Seeing people arrive curious and leave confident, proud of what they created, reminded me why I started Groovy Shorty in the first place: to create spaces where art feels warm, and human.

🎨 About the Workshop:

This is a free-style art session — a space to express yourself through color, texture, and flow.

You can choose your own creative path: crochet, watercolor painting, or even collage over your garment.

I recommend bringing your favorite art supplies: yarn, markers, paints, scissors, fabrics, and anything that helps your imagination dance. 🪡🎨✂️

⏰ A quick note about timing

Please arrive a few minutes early — the library is strict with schedules, and I want us to enjoy every single creative minute.
