We believe every young person - no matter where they come from - should be able to access the resources to make social change, so our programs are free and open to all young people between the ages of 16 and 30. By providing guidance for projects, accelerator grants and regular support to young people who otherwise might not be able to access them, we expand the circle of youth changing the world. We trust young people as experts facing issues in their communities. We believe in their power to create impactful solutions and we provide global access to training, mentors and funding to turn their ideas into action. More than 30,000 young people from 164 countries have joined our digital platform. And through our global call to action, we have helped to create more than 13,000 youth-led social innovations impacting 100,000’s of people globally. We believe in youth leadership.
65% of our team is made up of young people who are exemplary social change leaders under the age of 26. These leaders are accountable for program delivery in every region of the world - MENA, Sub-Saharan Africa, UK/Europe, Asia/Oceania, Latin America, US and Canada. When Afghanistan banned girls' secondary education in 2021, Fazilat couldn't start university, and neither could 2.6 million other Afghan girls.
After she had to leave home for Pakistan, she kept asking one question: "If they cannot walk through the doors of a classroom, how can I bring the classroom to them?"
That question became Educate Her. Today it reaches more than 300 Afghan girls across Afghanistan, Iran, and Pakistan with English classes, self-development sessions, and reading clubs, all delivered safely from home.
In her words: "Real change starts with the courage to take action rather than waiting for it."

A farming village in Haryana. A road accident that could have ended everything. Instead, it became the start of Sandy Khanda's work.
Today, through the Green Pencil Foundation, he's breaking the silence around menstrual health with "Periods of Pride," driving grassroots climate action through "Freedom From Pollution" and "Climate Chaupal" and bringing his farming roots into the climate conversation.
His belief: real change starts at the grassroots, through awareness, education, and collective action.
