Trinity College Women's Rowing

Happy National Girls and Women in Sports Day from TWR! Today we honor the past, celebrate the present, and encourage the future Trinity Women’s rowers and female athletes everywhere.

If you have a 5th -8th grade girl and are in the Hartford area this Saturday, please see the second slide for a flyer to our NGWSD event that we are hosting on campus on Saturday Feb 7th at 1pm.

We had an awesome Head of the Charles weekend. The 1v 8+ somehow managed to win a medal in the Collegiate 8+ despite getting stuck in some significant traffic. The 2v 8+ flew down the course finishing as the second 2v in the event and 12th overall. The 3v 8+ finished in 25th place, an outstanding result. Our collegiate 4+ entry finished in 18th place and re-qualified the boat for next year for the first time since 2019!!!

We had a total of 42 athletes racing including 10 alums across 6 boats. All in all an epic weekend and it was very exciting to see the team throw down some solid performances, qualifying 4 boats for next year and taking home some hardware!

Thank you to all who hosted and took care of our athletes. It was great to see so many parents and alums over the weekend.

Next stop, Philly! Go Trinity!!!
