Escape Image Consulting will assist the "CURVY" and "Hulking" community to be their own type of beautiful. Escape Image Consulting was conceived in December 2012 by Nicole N. Flynt-Thomas and Danita Lee. was introduced by having in-store fashion shows at Ashley Stewart stores in Boston, MA. In December 2013, E.I.C. gave monthly in-store fashion shows giving curvaceous women the chance to see the collection of clothing on real “curvy” women and not just on thin or factory size mannequins. We mixed and matched patterns and colors encouraging woman to think out of the box encouraging and allowing them to be daring and fabulous. Escape Image Consulting understands the struggle of being curvaceous in today’s society. E.I.C is owned and operated by curvaceous women who have been stigmatized and ostracized by name brand labels and stores that “do not carry those sizes”. 72% of women in America are a size 12 and up but women size 0-8 are put on a pedestal which forces women who do not fit this profile to feel inadequate, worthless, and insignificant. These feelings could lead to self-hatred and low self-esteem, coupled with fad diets, poor choices and self-loathing. This is a recipe for “I hate myself soup”. On this voyage we have discovered that "TOTAL SIZE ACCEPTANCE" is not just a feamle challenge, it is a challenge for everyone. Somehow we were all brain washed into believing that being curvaceous is the same as unhealthy. That if you are a size that are a size "big", you are categorized as “plus size”, “obese” or just plain “fat”. Women are being put these boxes without taking into account genetics, body type or mental well-being. Services
Image Consulting:
1) E.I.C will help curvaceous women build their self-esteem by helping them figure out their body types (Ectomorph, Mesomorph and Endomorph), best features (eyes, lips, leg ect.) and promotion of self (being your own type of beautiful).
2) E.I.C will assist women/men images by selecting clothes that flatter them and that encourages them to be their own type of beautiful/hansome. We will also be locating and promoting curvaceous events in and around Boston, that cater to curvy community.
3) E.I.C. will host in-store fashion shows with companies like, Ashely Stewart stores that cater to curvaceous women/men. Making of a DIVA ( MOD)seminars: Once a month for two hours E.I.C. will sponsor the “Making of a DIVA” seminar that will teach:
1) Runway walking
2) Posing
all taught by a qualified instructor (s). Next Big Thing (NBT) Pageant: Escape Image Consulting will work to change the perception of curvy women and promote everything curvaceous by bringing to Boston for the first time the NEXT BIG THING (NBT) Pageant on May 17, 2014! Where we are expected 500+ people to attend. With aggressive marketing, we will have a fabulous pageant that will showcase and celebrate curvy women who have talent, intelligence, grace and beauty. We will also have vendors that will promote items that will enrich the lives of women. Look forward to;
