In 2003, Jana was recognized as a world wide finalist in the Tocco Magico updo competition - placing 3rd in the United States, before competing in the finals in Rome, Italy. In addition to her work at Salon Acote, Jana worked as a fashion stylist at Ruelala from 2009 to 2011. Jana frequently participates in various charity events; most recently a Cancer Care Fashion show sponsored by Boston Medical Center. Jana has styled for an array of celebrities including Steven Tyler and Tom Hamilton of Aerosmith, Mary Louise Parker, and Kristine Lilly, Kate Markgraf and Angela Hucles of the USA women’s national soccer team. Most recently, Jana’s work has been shown in Oribe Rough Luxury Magazine and Boston Common Magazine. She assisted at NYC Fashion week 2012 with Mark Townsend for Rene Furterer with Elizabeth and James, and with Ramona for Oribe with Rad Hourani.
