Box 2-1792

At approximately 08:30 hrs., Boston Fire Alarm struck Box 1792, for a reported structure located at 1 Maple Street, in the Roxbury Section of the City.

First due companies had heavy fire showing from the roof of the large 2 1/2 story building.
Shortly thereafter after, a large dormer collapsed into the attic.
A 2nd Alarm was ordered and all members were ordered out the building, exterior operations only.

A10 responded on the 1st alarm due to high heat and humidity.

Snacks
Frozen Hydration Pops
Ice
Rehab Seating
Mary Lou’s Coffee

A-9 had to respond to the scene with additional supplies for A10.
A10 returned at 14:30 hrs.

Multiple detail companies spent an extended period of time chasing hotspots.

11 people were displaced and one pet cat was brought out hours after the fire virtually unscathed.

Working Fire

At approximately 22:45, A-9 responded to the City of Braintree on their Working Fire. Fire location was 24 Bowditch Street.
Car fire extended into 2 exposure buildings. Multiple engine and trucks were requested over the Working Fire Assignment.

Cold/ wet towels
Snacks
Frozen Hydration pops
Light tower
Rehab Seating
Misting Fan
Portable Generator
A-9 returned at 03:10 hrs.

Box 1585

At approximately 16:30 hrs. Boston Fire Alarm struck Box 1585 for a structure fire located at 330 Newbury Street.

Fire was on the roof of the 2 story brick attached taxpayer.

A11 and A10 responded with an in-house crew( crews standing by due to excessive heat, 99 degrees).

Pre-chilled Water
Cold/ wet towels

Units returned at 17:50 hrs.
