This past week we closed on financing and will start construction this month on 45 new condominiums in Jamaica Plain. Built to performance standards, next year 45 families will have an opportunity to purchase an affordable, energy efficient home thanks to funding from and .housing. We’ve joint ventured with . Thanks to MHIC and for providing acquisition and predevelopment lending.

Last week we celebrated with the 38 new households of 1005 Broadway a ribbon cutting. We started on this site, a vacant brownfield on the water, nine years ago. We brought on our long-time partner and after many ups and downs, it turned out to be a beautiful building overlooking Mill Creek that will provide public access to the water, be super energy efficient, and be a safe, welcoming, affordable place to call home for our new residents. Thanks to the many, many individuals & organizations that helped make this a reality.
