This week, we were delighted to welcome Beth Carver Wees and Sheila Barron Smithie FGA to our Boston gallery for a special talk celebrating their new book Marcus & Co.: Three Generations of New York Jewelers.

Following a champagne reception, guests gathered for a warm introduction from our Director of Jewelry, Kaitlin Shinnick, before our speakers led a fascinating walk through the history of this storied jewelry house.

On view throughout the evening were exceptional antique canes from the upcoming Eddi Van Auken Cane Collection | Masterpieces auction, as well as highlights from Hermès: From the Vault, both taking place in New York this December, and Fine Art auction, Past & Present, ending next week in Marlborough.

Thank you to everyone who joined us. We look forward to welcoming you back in 2026 for an exciting year of programming.

The final group of our Fall auctions is now live! 🍂

Americana and Historic Arms & Militaria are open for bidding, with Antique Rugs & Textiles launching early next week.

PATCH NYC Don Carney and John Ross styled our Clarendon Street gallery windows with highlights from all three sales, set against their new 2025 'Tapestry' print wallpaper.

The auctions showcase a remarkable range of material, from a brilliant Aesthetic Movement mahogany, burl veneer, cherry, and poplar hall stand by the Herts Brothers to serene snowy landscapes by Bob Ross and an exceptional selection of early American militia objects, Civil War–era arms and accouterments, and more.
