IVAW and the Boston Civilian Soldier Alliance are working on the #RightToHeal campaign to address the medical concerns of Iraqis and US veterans and increase awareness regarding environmental issues and enduring toxic exposures endured by the Iraqi people. As veterans we had the privilege of leaving Iraq but there are still veterans who completed short deployments there who are suffering and even dying from toxic exposures.

Thinking of Chelsea Manning today on her 27th birthday. It is a travesty of justice that true patriots like Manning sit in prison while torturers like Dick Cheney are free to discuss their crimes on national TV.
