We're looking forward to our Public Art Convening on June 11 in New Bedford, where we will connect, learn, and reflect with public art makers, admins, advocates, and fellow funders. We'll explore the ripple effects of NEFA's public art investments and celebrate the powerful work of our grantees.
In 2022, Dayenne C. Walters was a Public Art for Spatial Justice Grantee with her project, "Billboard Hope" in Roxbury, MA. Walters is a artivist and a long-time resident of Boston. Instead of advertising products that don't serve the community, Billboard Hope "advertised" joy through new works by community members.

Public art makers, admins, and advocates: join us on June 11 for the Public Art Impact Convening! We'll share preliminary findings from our public art impact report, put a spotlight on the powerful work of our grantees, and save time for attendees to be in dialogue with one another.
