Having a specific vision for accomplishing our desires we have joined together to reflect on our struggles, strategize, share resources and ideas, and to educate ourselves

The George Wiley Center is excited to see Frances Fox Piven in Providence this week! We are grateful for her role in supporting social movements including working directly with George Wiley, our namesake, to form the National Welfare Rights Organization. As importantly as her past solidarity is her continued advocacy for our organizing.
