We at HMS MEDscience want to thank Dr. Martha Gallagher, whose generosity, guidance, and enthusiasm help bring science and medicine to life for our students. Whether participating in hands-on activities or sharing insights from her own experience as an anesthesiologist (for over 30 years!), Dr. Marty’s passion for medicine is infectious to our students! 

Dr. Gallagher’s favorite advice for students:
“Never forget that you are dealing with a person– not just a disease, a diagnosis, or an interesting case. Treat your patients as you yourself would like to be treated if you were in their position.”
